Greetings from the California bible belt. I have been atheist for most of my life, raised roman Irish catholic. I had two uncles who were in the christian brothers. One got out quickly and eventually became a child molester. One was in for 15 years, then got out and married an ex-nun. I have no atheist friends nearby. Come to think of it, I only have one anywhere. She lives in Arkansas.

Every day I put on my anti-religion armor before I leave for work, knowing that I will be assaulted with r-bombs flying past me all day long. Today a co-worker passed a typing test and agreed with another woman that the lord is wonderful. (How fast can the lord type, I wonder).

Anyway, I hope to make some friends here. I also need to vent to help maintain sanity. Where is the appropriate venting spot on the forum?

One other Q - what are the posts that have a list of strange links in them?

Looking forward to some clandestine participation from 8 to 5!
